Verizon's New (Terrible) Perk: Express Pass - Dedicated Network Slice or QCI 7?
Page 1/1

u/biznizfiz

I know the majority of users here are on prepaid plans, but for the few of us on the Simplicity plan, I noticed a new perk available for purchase. It's called Express Pass: https://i.imgur.com/s4vc84J.png From what it sounds like, it looks like a carbon copy of AT&T's Turbo. The only difference here is that this one sucks even more than Turbo. At least with Turbo, it's $7 a month for QCI 7 access. This one is $5 a DAY (yes a DAY) for 24 hours OR 6GB of data. Now, I'm wondering if Verizon is selling this as a dedicated network slice (They do this with Unlimited Ultimate, video calls are on its own dedicated network slice) or if they're selling this as QCI 7. Who the hell is this for? Who would buy this steaming pile of terrible value?
