Three months with a dumb-ish phone
Page 1/3

u/Ok-Trip-5256

hi folks, im not a big "poster" but i wanted to take a moment to reflect on having used a T9 android phone for three months, after switching from a pixel 6a. the tl;dr summary is that it has been The Solution, for me. the perfect amount of friction, and it has genuinely made me calmer, happier and more present. longer version: there's nothing special about my case and like most of you, screen time makes me miserable and willpower alone has failed me. have played with a few solutions over the years to varying levels of success. some have endured, like quitting social media. others work for a bit and then fall down, like uninstalling apps or setting screen time reminders.
